“It suddenly struck me that that tiny pea, pretty and blue, was the Earth. I put up my thumb and shut one eye, and my thumb blotted out the planet Earth. I didn't feel like a giant. I felt very, very small.” – Neil Armstrong (1930-2012)

Wah, you can give Improbable Research (improb.com) a run for his money. ;)

Have you read about the infamous report of homosexual necrophilia in ducks?

Thanks for the link to improb.com!

Hi LLH,

Love your Blog!

So terror and cheem one. Read also get frighten and get headache.

Will be back and often! (I am a sucker for punishment, eh, not that S&M kind ok? Don't anyhow jump to conclusions can?)

I have one request. Can change your background colour of your Blog or not ah? To white? I know lah. Your out-of-the-box lateral thinking is clearly exemplified by this unique appearance and all dat but my eyesight always go wonky after reading DARK background screen-pages. Why my eyes like dat? Can you explain?

Maybe it's easier to just change your backgound colour. :-)

Glad you joined the discussion over at Mr. Wang's. We need some real brainz over there to contribute some REAL facts and well reasoned arguments ..... for a change! ;-)

Hi BTH,

Welcome to Fresh Brainz!

Thanks for your encouragement and suggestions. I just changed the colour scheme recently so I won't change it again so soon, but you have a good point. Maybe next month Fresh Brainz will go back to its original dark-text-on-light-background.

Glad you joined the discussion over at Mr. Wang's. We need some real brainz over there to contribute some REAL facts and well reasoned arguments ..... for a change! ;-)

Thanks for the compliment! I will pop over to Mr. Wang's occasionally to contribute a comment, but honestly it's getting tedious. Even if I am a making a good argument, Mr. Wang can switch to another subject and I have to play catch up again.

Unlike Mr. Wang, I'm not (and can't be) an expert on everything. Making a well-supported argument takes a time and effort, in order to clearly understand the subject matter and evaluate what the research results really mean. Eventually he will switch into some field that I'm not familiar with and can't say anything useful.

Still, I am glad that Mr. Wang brought up so many diverse topics. Maybe this will spark an interest in some of his readers to delve more deeply into the science, which is a good thing.

Best regards and please come again!

Or not!

They might instead gravitate toward pseudoscience and decide to test "thought affect reality"(TAR)by defying the law of gravity and jump from the rooftop of the Westin Stamford.

Look ma, I TRULY BELIEVE so I can flyyyyyyy!!

Plop!

Uh Oh...:-)

Nasty and DANGEROUS.

To BTH:

Nah, I don't think Mr. Wang's readers are that stupid. Of course Fresh Brainz readers are much smarter (and better looking), but I doubt anyone will take the TAR idea to such an extreme.

Pseudoscience should be discouraged, of course. I'll pop over if he makes more extreme claims.
