Laboratory Officer Position in Origen Labs

Origen Laboratories Pte Ltd employs the latest technology and software to provide genomics and genetics analysis services to pharmaceutical, biotechnology and academic researchers. We are currently expanding our research laboratory and are seeking suitably qualified candidates for the following position.

Laboratory Officer (Ref: LO_102007)
(This position is open to Singaporean citizens and Singapore PR’s only).

Responsibilities:
You will play a critical role to support the services offered by Origen Laboratories Pte Ltd. You will work closely with research scientists in the areas of genotyping and gene expression profiling assays. Your duties will include sample processing for microarray studies, cell imaging, data analysis as well as maintenance of detailed laboratory records. You will also be responsible for laboratory maintenance as well as performing administrative functions such as procurement and inventory control for the laboratory. Comprehensive training will be provided.

Requirements:
- Degree or diploma in Life Sciences/Molecular Biology or related fields
- Fresh graduates are welcome to apply as training will be provided
- Basic molecular biology skills, cell culture techniques
- Basic Microsoft office tools
