I don't understand the illustration.
People enter, people exit and the character with the hair and face stands in the middle looking at the thick black line on the right side.
Tee hee, perhaps it's not drawn well enough. :P
This is an MRT (subway) interchange station. People are crossing the platform to transfer to another train from both directions.
Freddie wants to exit the station (green sign upper right, escalator on the right side) but he is caught in the crossfire of human traffic.
